Bio:

I was born and raised in High Bridge, New Jersey. My childhood was filled with testing brakeless go-carts for my brother, fishing with my dad, and singing all the time. For a while, I wanted nothing more than to sing on Broadway or sing with my dad in his amazing doo-wap quartet. Those dreams faded into obscurity the minute I had my first real writing assignment. It was a piece entitled How I would like the world to be, by Sara Spock. The byline was gorgeous and my second grade teacher couldn't stop gushing.

After high school, I found myself looking at acceptance letters from several overseas schools and my very own Penn State University. Unable to decide, I did what any creative, free-thinking 18 year old would do. I packed up and moved to Peru, South America. There were so many adventures and interesting things to tell you, that one day I will, indeed, write a book.

Since returning to State College in the late 90's, I've been focused on a career in the market research industry and striving to earn my masters in Anthropology from Penn State. Over the years, I have developed an eclectic base of knowledge ranging from translation of the romance languages to Mack Trucks. If you have a question, I just might have an answer.

I love read. Some of my favorite writers are Neil Gaiman, Jane Austen, JRR Tolkien, Ernest Hemingway, Victor Hugo, Peter Mayle, Guy De Maupassant, Edgar Allen Poe, Jasper Fforde, Mark Twain, Roald Dahl, Jimmy Buffett, Franz Kafka, Tim Cahill, and JK Rowling . I also love to play tennis, to paint and sketch, eat lovely food, dance with my fingers on the steering wheel of my car, spend time with my wonderful people, sing, and travel often. In April of 2003, I visited Paris for the first time. It's true what they say about Paris. It rips you open and reveals you to yourself. It makes you realize all of the things you want to be. If you ever get the chance, go to Paris!

I am always looking for new writing opportunities. Drop an email my way and we can talk shop!
